At Speed and Power Development Factory, our training program is designed to maximize the development of speed and power through the use of functional movements that will enhance an athlete’s skills and improve their overall athletic performance.

Program
SPD operates four training cycles per year.
  

The SPD program operates four training cycles throughout the year. The fall, winter, spring and summer cycles each run twelve (12) weeks in length.

Each individual training session last approximately one hour. All registered athletes may attend as many training sessions that their schedule permits. Please see Rates & Schedules Page for more information.

At Speed & Power Development Factory, we are dedicated to maximizing athletic performance and reducing the potential for injury through a comprehensive training program that improves core strength and flexibility, increases power and muscular endurance, and enhances speed and agility.

A typical group training session at SPD Factory incorporates the following athletic components:

Dynamic Warm-Up- Movement-Oriented Warm-Up

Speed Development- Techniques to Improve Running Mechanics

Lateral Speed and Agility- Quickness Drills in Multiple Directions

Plyometrics– Training the Body to React Explosively

Strength Training- Olympic Style, Ground Based, Multi-Joint Movements

Advanced Metabolic Conditioning- Crossfit Principles

Stabilization Training- Balance & Coordination Training

Core Training- Training the abdominals & lower back
